Senior policy-advisor in the Dutch program Learning for Sustainable Development – Duurzaam Door. She is based at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency in Utrecht, where she helps to stimulate and  implement social innovation (both in regional, national and international networks). Education, learning and facilitating vital coalitions are important pillars in her work.

Former Head of Subunit for Environmental Education in the Austrian Ministry of Education. In this function he was managing the development of Austrian Environmental Education and ESD programmes and networks including the international cooperation within ENSI and EU-projects.

Head (since 2001) of the Department of Educational Principles and Cross over Skills in the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education. One of the major fields of the Department is the implementation of cross curricular principles into the Austrian school system. One of these working fields is the management of the Austrian National Strategy of ESD.
Chairman of the Austrian Youth Red Cross since 2013.
